about

I’ve always had an affinity for popular music. I grew up listening to rock and singer-songwriters. Along the way, I picked up the saxophone and was introduced to jazz. Jazz was the primary vehicle through which I learned (and continue learning) how to play the saxophone.

Fast-forward 20 years, and I’m again embracing my love for a great melody. This collection, three originals and two covers represents another side of my musical personality. I feel a strong, almost instinctual connection with these songs. Playing them allows a unique part of my soul to shine through in a raw and powerful way.
